I am trying to use this product that was supposed to make website building easier. So far I have wasted over 2 hours trying to figure out how to have a header and side-bar one color with the text within them another color. I also want to keep the rest of the page, where the text will be entered, white. How can I do this? The help file is worthless as well as the tutorial.

When you want to apply a background for a certain element, first you need to make sure you're using the right layout and that element is defined separately from the rest of the content or when you'll apply a background color, it will fill the whole page. Use the software's built-in elements to create a section on the top of the page which can be defined as header then create a body and change the background using the visual tools offered by the software.

Thanks for such a detailed explanation. I'm new to web design and usually work with ready-made templates and plugins, so it's hard for me to do something on my own.

If you can't do it yourself, then I recommend paying attention to this site https://masterbundles.com/sell-your-deal/ Here graphic editors put up their projects for sale and you can buy them inexpensively and don't bother with the details, just pick what you like the most. All projects are trendy and original.
