Family Origins to run on Vista

I had been running Family Origins on Windows before Vista and now I can not run on Vista or Windows 7. Can you help?

Family Origins is a really old software that has been discontinued and replaced with the one called "RootsMagic", with most features in common. You could try running Family Origins on Vista using the compatibility mode, but the best solution would be to use a newer software.
