Is there any way that I can use to recover lost or deleted data from my Samsung Galaxy S5, especially my contacts, messages and call history?

If you have deleted or the items were deleted on purpose, then recovery is impossible. Once you delete one of these items, recovery is not possible. For all the content stored on the micro SD card, recovery is possible with the help of a card reader that is attached to the PC and using a recovery solution.

As you know, the reason why a recovery program can help you retrieve deleted Samsung contacts is that your lost contacts data are still stored in somewhere of your phone, but if you add new contacts on your device, the new data may overwrite those previous data, then you will never get them back again.

There are some simple steps

Download and install Android Data Recovery on the computer.To enable USB debugging on Galaxy S5, please follow the instructions as below:
1). Settings < More < About Device < Tap Build No. 7 times until a message that says “Developer mode has been enabled“.
2). Tap the Back button < Developer options < USB Debugging

Don`t worry, you can easily retrieve your deleted data back from your Samsung by following 2 ways.

  1. You can get them back through Google Plus account if you have synced your photos to Google Plus.

  2. If you don't have synced them to google plus account, you can try to use some third-party softwares such as Android Data Recovery.
