RIP image distortion effect issue.

We are using AcroRip with Vista to print to an Epson 1390. We are printing plastic discs 25mm x 20mm. The Rip is distorting any image we have tried to print. We have to change the output size to 26.75mm x 16.95mm to achieve the correct shape. Spacing between the discs is 2mm x and Y. When printing multiples i.e. 198 on a 320mm x 420mm page we have to change the Repeat X settings to 2.5mm and the Y settings to 1.875mm. We have uninstalled and re-installed and the driver page size settings are correct.

It's possible that you're trying to use images that have a bad resolution for the CDs you are trying to print. It's always recommended to either edit the images in another editor then you can import them in the application. Additionally, open the AcroRIP application and make sure that you disable Fit to page and the images should look exactly the same when they were imported. The distortion is caused by the image resolution you want to use.
