ZTE Cricket volume issues

My phone volume doesn't work. Whenever I try to lower the volume it doesn't quiet down. I can lower the volume but the music doesn't goes off. How do I fix my volume?

The problem with the volume might be related to the sound settings in your phone. Android phones use different schemes for volume settings : 15/25/50/100 % or Mute/Quite. Simply press the Volume button until it says SOUND then try to lower the volume.
