Webfreer is known to have ads and add-ons since it's a product that's running completely on advertisement. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend using this product. Instead try Tor Browser. It works on the same principle, without ads and it's completely anonymous.
To clean the Webfreer, run a copy of AdwCleaner and follow its instructions.
