How can update my HTC DROID Incredible 2 Android 2.3.4 to the latest Android 4.xx version?

Android 2.3.4 is the latest version available for this phone. Besides that, there are no plans to update to Android 4.xx version. The phone arrived with Android Eclair 2.1 and it was upgraded to 2.3 Gingerbread.
