If you forgot the passcode, you could try to unlock your phone by performing a hard reset. This will wipe all your data from the device, but you will still be able to use it. To do this, you first need to turn your phone OFF. Hold down the Volume Up button and the Power button simultaneously until the Android logo will appear on the screen. After you entered the recovery menu, use the Volume UP, Volume Down buttons to navigate and select Wipe Data / Factory Reset using the Power button. After the device boots up, it will be unlocked.
