If your webcam is not opening, first you need to check if there are no other applications that are still using the webcam. Close all the applications then start the webcam again. If you still don't have image, go to Start > Run > type devmgmt.msc and make sure the driver is installed. In most of the cases, this problem is caused by driver corruption. RE-install the driver and it should work normally.
