I am running an ASUS p8Z77-V Pro motherboard. I understand Ai Suite 3 was developed for Z78 boards. Is is compatible with a Z77 board? Does it have full overclocking and monitoring functionality on a Z77 board?
No, ASUS AI Suite 3 is not compatible or available for your motherboard. You can only install and use ASUS AI Suite II that is available to download from Asus Support website. Visit the website and select your operating system then click on the Utilities category to expand it.
Yes, we can install AI Suite III "AISuite-III-Win7-8-Z87-S-VER10051" version 10051 only because other versions will post an error message "not supported". I installed AI Suite III on P8Z77-V Deluxe
So in essence it can be done, but is not officially supported by ASUS. The latest officially supported AI Suite for the P8Z77-V Deluxe is 2.01.01, which is compatible with Windows 7 and 8.
