I can't recover my network password. I upgraded my computer from Windows XP to Windows 8. Can you help?

Firstly, in order to recover your network password, I suggest you type 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 in the address bar of your browser. After that, open the login page of your router and use admin as password and username to log in. If it doesn't work, try password as password or contact your router manufacturer. Look for the WLAN Security menu/tab and check your network password. If you can't find it, I suggest you factory reset your router using the instructions from its guide.

Note: Also, you can use RouterPasswords to check the default username and password for your router.
