There are three Lowrance 2000 devices available: GlobalMap 2000, AirMap 2000C and LGC-2000. The first one has been discontinued and it is no longer updated. If you're using an AirMap 2000C or LGC-2000 device, you can download and install the update from the official Downloads page. Click the provided link to save the ZIP file to your computer, extract the package using WinRAR or WinZip, insert a blank SD/MMC card to your computer card reader and copy the extracted file/files. After that, turn off the Lawrence product, insert the SD/MMC card in the unit’s SD/MMC card slot, turn it back on and wait for the software to install. Once the process is complete, remove the card and restart the Lawrence unit.
