I have this update installed on my PC. I want to uninstall as it is blocking Autodesk 3DS Max set up files. What are the consequences of uninstalling this update to other programs and which are the programs affected?

There is a chance that the AutoDesk 3DS Max will give launch errors. In this case, simply reinstall the redistributable file. There isn't a big impact over your applications just that they won't start normally. Reinstalling should fix it in case you encounter any of the errors.
