Yes, you can expand your layout without any problems. After you opened the interface, look through the Menu Bar and you will see the a button that says Options. Select the Layout button or press Ctrl+Alt+A. A pop-up windows will appear and all you need to do to expand your layout is change the value from Room Width and Room Height. You can also use your mouse scroll to zoom out/in.
