I have installed the application, but since I don't have a physical recording device, the program won't start. However, the program dates 2008 and since then there were few versions released without an official website. In this case, I would recommend checking the configuration settings. The problem must be caused by the wrong paths and settings. Once you configure them and adjust the video recording codecs, everything should be fine. Also, make sure you have enough free space left on your hard drive.
