When did a WITS Server crash?

Question

We use the WITS Service to transfer the data from point A to point B and every time I had a WITS crash (uploading recovery). I as you kindly to answer this few questions.

1. What is the technique explanation for this issue?
2. We used to change the WITS file every 100Mo. What is the maximum of a WITS file size to keep it functional?

Also we use a two WITS separately one from the source to the local and the second one to the Backup.Can I use one WITS server for both transmissions ?

There is nowhere specified about the maximum file size used by the WITS server. However, the software appears to be discontinued because there is no way to download it for testing and data gathering.
