Samsung Galaxy Y Duos unlock problem.

I am having a problem unlocking my Samsung Galaxy y Duos phone due to accidental simultaneous pattern unlocking when my phone was in my pocket. It asks my username and password. Adding to my burden was that I forgot my password, only the username recalled because it's been so long when I first registered it. What would I do? Can you help me?

This question has already been tackled here. Basically, you will need to perform a Factory Reset operation to reset the settings on your phone.
