Try to download the driver for the Windows version installed in your computer and for the right type of the computer. The 740M driver is for laptop models who own this graphic module. However, you can download the drivers from the Nvidia website. When installing, make sure to run the package as Administrator and tick the Clean Install open from the Custom mode.
