Flight Info is not installed.

I just bought the download version for FSX and it does not seem to be installed in my Flight Simulator. How do I know if it has been installed?

These add-ons should have one installer and readme file. In the readme file, that's usually archived with the package where you will find instructions how to activate the add-on. However, it's better to use the Help file to find information to activate it in-game. Try using the FSX launcher to configure the add-on.
