How long does it take for Live File Compression to completely compress my folders and files? I have been running it for 3 days and it has scanned 112489 files/folders and it has not shown any of them scanned for over one hour. Do I click on the 'Stop' button? I am not sure what to do at this point and I am worried that if I stop the program, all the compressed files/folders will become uncompressed.

This process is very time-consuming, especially if you have a hard disk with low write\read speed and a processor that isn't so powerful. At this point, it's advised to let the program to complete the compression phase. If you Stop the process, all your files will be automatically uncompressed and you will need to start it all over. To speed up the process, it's advised not to use your computer until the compression phase is over because by using it, you slow down the process.
