The best solution to this problem is the use of the online cloud storage. If your phone is using Windows as operating system, then you can upload all your pictures to SkyDrive, alternatively use iCloud if you're using an Apple phone. On the computer, download the SkyDrive application and transfer the uploaded photos. You need to have Live account for all these operations. Same goes for Apple, you need an Apple ID to complete all the upload and download operations.
