PAD Product Tool stops at 5%.

I'm using PAD Product Tool 1.05.02 to download a firmware to an Android tablet using default parameters, but after pressing Download button, the progress bar is always at 5%. I guess the download is not on going at all. What can I do? Do I need to deactivate something on the PC?

In order to fix the issue, navigate to Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall > Allow a program through Windows Firewall and check the box next to PAD Product Tool. If you can't find the application in the Allowed programs and features window, press the Allow another program button, navigate to the installation directory, select the executable file and press Add.

After that, from the Advanced Settings select Inbound Rules > New Rule. Check the Port box, click Next, select All local Ports and follow the self-explained steps. Also, make sure that your security program doesn't block the connection. If you still have issues, use Google search engine to find and download PAD Product Tool 1.07.02 (the latest version of the software).
