Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 shows error -110.

Can anyone help me? I bought my son a 7 inch Galaxy Tab for Christmas and it won't install any apps. I am getting the above error code!

To restore device's functionality, you need to restart the tablet. This operation will wipe all the settings and any errors that you might encounter. To do this, go to Settings > Privacy and tap on Factory Reset or Reset device. At this time, the device will reset and begin the recovery procedure. It should take a few minutes to complete.
