Is Adobe Acrobat needed to be installed?

The utility cannot search PDF files because Adobe Acrobat is not installed. Adobe Acrobat is installed. Does the utility need to be configured or expect Adobe Acrobat to be installed in a specific location?

To search for the PDF files using this utility, you don't need to have Adobe Acrobat installed. To configure the utility to search for PDF file types, you need to open it and click on the button next to Mask that contains three dots. In the new page opened, click New, add the .pdf extension, click Ok and make sure that you have selected that mask. It should solve your problem.
