When visiting Adobe's site for the Flash Player, to check if I have the latest version installed for Google Chrome, Adobe tells me that the version I have installed is 11.9.900.170. It also tells me my OS is Windows Vista (32-bit), when in fact my OS is Vista, but it is the 64 bit version. However, Software Informer tells me the version of Flash Player I have installed on my PC for Chrome is 11.9.900.152 & for Internet Explorer version 11.9.900.117. What is the real info & which should I go with?

All the Flash Player versions installed in your computer should be the same, even if you use one for Internet Explorer, Chrome, etc. The version of Chrome is updated automatically with each new release of Chrome. The Internet Explorer is updated with the automatic downloader or manually. Access Adobe Flash player page with Internet Explorer and download the installer. After this operation, browse to the same page with Chrome and choose to download the installer. Close all the browsers, then launch each saved package and apply all the updates. After this procedure, Flash Player should be updated completely.
