To find out the current version of the program that you have installed, you can check the Help menu > About inside the application. To transfer your data from an older version to the latest one, you first need to export it to a compatible format. The latest version of the Your Insurance Office program can import files in MDB, MDA, MDE, MDW formats. Export your data first to one of these formats and you will be able to import it.
The application has been discontinued. This means that it will no longer receive updates. Due to this, the chances that it will work on Windows 8 are low. However, you can try to install it using compatibility features. To do this, swipe from the right of the screen, type run program, open the resulted service and follow the steps provided.
