I want to update my Samsung Galaxy S Duos to Kitkat. I found Kitkat firmware only for Galaxy S. Basically, I think it won't support the dual SIM. Can I install it or it will brick my phone?

The Samsung Galaxy S Duos phone supports Android 4.0. This is the only version released for this particular phone. In no way you should install the firmware for the S version on your phone because it will brick it and the partitions will also be formatted. You need to install the firmware exactly for your phone. The latest version for your phone is actually 4.0.4. You can access Samsung Updates to see exactly the available firmware version.
