Regarding permission for institutions.

I'm a professor at Chaffey College, and have made a request to our Information Tech Services department that the DNRGarmin software that we'd installed on our computers in the zoology lab remains there. Its indicated that we'd need permission from the publisher to do so; that, even for free downloads, institutions require permissions that individuals do not. Please either provide the permission I am requesting, or direct me to the information I need to make a proper request for such permission.

You should know that this is an old software that is outdated and it's been replaced with a newer one. To learn more about the new program, visit its official website.
