If the software doesn't detect your CD/DVD-ROM, then it's a problem with your device. To fix it, make sure it's properly installed on your computer. Go to Start > Run > devmgmt.msc and make sure it's installed properly. If there is a yellow sign, right click it and select Update Driver. Additionally, check the cables for the CD/DVD-Rom. This could also be a problem.
