The first requirement to burn a CD is the availability of a CD/DVD-RW drive in your computer and the necessary software allowing you to burn CD/DVDs. If you're using Ashampoo, start it from the Desktop or Start Menu and then select the CD/DVD type. If you want an audio CD, choose Audio CD or if you want a DVD compatible with DVD players choose DVD VIDEO. After you chose the burning type, add the contents to the CD/DVD using the Add button and click next. On the next page choose the burning speed (a lower burning speed increases the reliability of the burnt CD/DVD) and add any titles or names to the medium and click Burn. Based on the speed and data added to the CD/DVD the process could take a couple of minutes or longer.
