Converting 32-bit songs to 24-bit.

I'm using Windows and I need to covert some 32-bit finished tracks to 24-bit for mastering. Firstly, can I do this with Cool Edit? Will I lose any quality in the process?

Unfortunately, the mentioned application was bought by Adobe which discontinued it. However, the new application which replaced CoolEdit Pro has the ability to convert songs from 32-bit to 24-bit. In the process, you will lose some of the song's quality. To find out more about the new application, I suggest that you visit the website of the new developer.
