Firstly, in order to fix the problem, configure your security program and Windows Firewall to allow the VIVID software to communicate. After that, launch the program, go to Menu > Setup > Sign Setup and configure the Sign information:

Next, from the Setup menu, select the communication method:

If you select the first one, type 1 as ID (it is the default one), select the the com port assigned to RS232 communication method on your computer and click OK:

If you use Internet, enter again 1 as ID, type the IP address of the Main Board and enter the default port number: 8331.

If you select the third method, type in the provided field the phone number of the display, type 1 as ID, select the com port and click OK.
