You can check for latest updates using Software Update feature that is found in the About Device menu. Go to Menu > Settings > About Device > Software update. Connect to a WiFi network and perform the checkup. If there are any updates, the phone will prompt you to download them. If you have a Samsung, Sony, HTC, or any other phone which can be managed through the PC Suite, then you can use that method to check for updates because PC Suite applications have an upgrade feature installed which allows you to perform regular firmware updates for your phone.
