How to lock Lenovo A60+ phone using IMEI number?

My Lenovo A60+ phone was stolen, and I want to lock it permanently. What is the procedure? I have an IMEI number.

If you have a contract for the phone, you need to contact the carrier's support service as they will block it permanently. If you don't have access to the phone and the phone isn't under any contract, then it will be lost for good. IMEI blocking isn't globally used at the moment.

There isn't a way to block the IMEI. This can be done by the carrier if the phone was under a subscription model. If your phone was equipped with a remote control application, you can use it to wipe the data on the phone in the most fortunate case. There are no other options available other than the one listed.
