I've got lots of these files (.DTP) created around 1995 on a PC running Windows 3.1. I am now working on a Mac. Is there any way of extracting the text from the files?

Since there are no applications on Mac that support this file format, opening them in Notepad or any compatible text editor will also do no good. This file format could be opened by Timeworks Publisher 3.x, but it is not available anymore.

I'm sorry that isn't possible... you can't do it on a Mac.
