I could record 3 to 4 tracks then the recorder stops. I'm using version 3.3 Spotify Recorder. It's a great program but this problem is driving me crazy. Is it Spotify or another program causing the problem? What can I do to fix this problem?

Version 3.3 is the latest that has been released. This must be a problem between Spotify and the application. Spotify is updated almost daily and the compatibility with applications that are not updated decreases. This must be a bug. Try to record only 1-2 tracks, close the program then repeat the procedure, instead of continuous recording.

The recording quality is quite bad. If you want to download Spotify songs, you can use the TunesKit Spotify Music Converter. It can download 320kbps songs from Spotify which is the best you can get from Spotify too.

Try Audacity or Audfree Spotify downloader. I use the latter one cause it can record music at 5X speed which def saves me lots of time.

The same issue happens in 2020. And I can't figure it out. Now I turn to use AudKit Spotify Playlist Converter. The sound quality of the converted Spotify tracks is much better than the Spotify recordings.

As for this issue, it could be something wrong happened between Spotify and this Spotify recorder. Could I confirm whether your Spotify app is being updated to the latest version currently, if yes, it could be something changed in the Spotify app. You can wait for the new release of the Spotify recorder you are using.
Or you can have a try of another specialized Spotify recorder, like DRmare Spotify Music Converter, it updates often to be compatible with the latest Spotify app.

My suggestion is to use another Spotify to MP3 Converter. Or you will lose much time on it and usually, it still cannot be fixed!

I really think a Spotify Recorder is too complicated for ripping Spotify music. You can instead try to google "Spotify to MP3" and you'll find many well-performed Spotify Converter. Good luck.
