How can I convert my 2D house plan view into a 3D plan view?

I want to see my house plan in 3D. I have got it on paper but I also want to see it in 3D.

There is a variety of programs on the market that makes it able for you to create your own house plan. I recommend IKEA Home Planner because it's freeware and you can also view your result in 3D.
