How to check for software updates on a Micromax A88 phone?

Please go to Menu > Settings > About Phone > Software Update. This is the only way to check for updates regarding Micromax phones. Make sure that you are connected to a wireless network instead of 3G because in case of an update, you will need to download huge amount of data.
