I forgot my username and password on my Micromax Canvas Viva. How can I hard reset my phone?

Please turn off your phone, then press Volume Up + Power Button until the Android logo appears. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset and you have performed the hard reset operation for your phone. This procedure wipes all the installed applications and restores all settings to their default values.
