To fix this issue, simply close all the background running programs and then modify the CPU priority of the application. To do this, simply start Task manager by right clicking the taskbar then select Task Manager. Locate the process of the application, right click it and select its priority. Choose something not too aggressive but higher than normal. Once the applications are closed, start it again and repeat the procedure. It should work this way.
