Pectel ECU Offload Tool connection to laptop.

Question

I am having problems when I connect my laptop to the car - it stays offline and does not download the info. I have set up the program on a friend's "newer" laptop and it works perfectly. My laptop is not old but is not a very expensive, is it possible that the network card is not suitable for the Pectel software? Are there minimum hardware specifications needed?

There is a PDF available for this operation. It explains exactly why you should use the available network connections and how. Download it from Google Search. It's the first link. Additionally, make sure to enter the proper IP in the connection fields and use the Blue ethernet cable provided. Your network card needs to be installed properly and set on DHCP mode (no IP address set manually) and then you can use the application.
