Triconex SOE communication problem.

The NIC card is installed correctly and able to ping the controller. But when the SOE software is running, the system fails to read the SOE file of the Tricon 1131 stored in C:\Program Files\Triconex\Trisoe\Soe config, and hence SOE can't be retrieved. Please suggest possible causes for this.

Try to re-install the software and reconfigure it. It's an easy trick but sometimes works. Also, check the firewall and any other security solutions. If you can ping the controller, then it means something somewhere is blocking the communication. If the software fails to read the files, make sure that the privileges are set correctly and the file actually exists in the location mentioned.
