I've downloaded this program, but it won't open saying : "No licenses found". I was under the impression this was free software. Am I wrong? Do I need to purchase a license to use the program?
No. This is not a freeware program. To use it, you will need to buy a license from the developer. To activate your product, I suggest you visit the official support website and follow the instruction provided. This is the only way you can activate and use the program.
