Need to understand if Philips Dicom Viewer works with windows professional 7

We have just switched to Windows 7 from Windows XP and the discs with x-rays are now not opening. Keeps saying that Philips Dicom Viewer is not responding. We went ahead and downloaded Philips Dicom 7 for XP/VIsta/7 and it is still not working. Please help.
