How do I use these little emoticons?

I installed the free program and I have that sponge bob looking thing as a tray icon and also an icon on my desktop. Now, how do I insert them into my e-mails? I've opened the site, picked my smiley, clicked on it and it doesn't do anything. Can you help me?

In order to use the emoticons from the program, you simply have to have it opened, compose a new mail, and while your write, click on any smiley from the program. By doing this, the smiley which you clicked on will be automatically inserted into your mail.
