Could you give me a piece of advice what to do?

A couple of years ago I installed the Cyrillic alphabet on my PC (Windows XP) by using the Rosyjski qwerty method. Last week I tried to reinstall the alphabet, using Windows 8. Unfortunately I didn't succeed in doing so. Could you give me a piece of advice what to do?

You can use Regional options from Control Panel to install the Russian language, then you can add your custom language (Russian related) and you will have Cyrillic support. It's a very easy procedure and it does not need 3rd party applications.
