Try downloading a new Photon application from the TATA DOCOMO website. It is known that USB modems don't fully support Windows 8. A special, yet easier to perform, procedure is needed. It involves installing the support application using compatibility settings, and then adding the hardware drivers through Device Manager. In most of the cases, it works flawlessly and you don't need other certified Windows 8 drivers.
