I have Java installed on my Control Panel but it is being blocked by something. It shows up in Control Panel but won't open.

I have Java installed on my Control Panel but it is being blocked by something. It shows up in Control Panel but won't open.

Open Task Manager (right click the Task Bar) and close down all the applications that are running your computer but leave the base system untouched. Alternatively, reinstall Java again and then you can access it from your actual Control Panel available from the Start menu.
