Connectivity between 2 towers and connecting bridge.

I would like to know how to apply a rigid, hinge or roller connectivity in the ETABS software to the edges of an 8-meter concrete bridge connecting two towers. I have been told to replace the bridge with beams and apply "release" function to achieve hinge purpose. And to apply continuity in slab between the two towers and the connecting bridge to achieve rigid purpose. Can you clarify, please? And if possible give any other alternatives. Thanks in advance.

According to the support information released for this application, there is no point in applying continuity in slabs between the two towers. It will render them incompatible. It's recommended to use both sides in fixed or hinged mode (one in vertical plane and one in rotation to the vertical plane) and then then roller in X and Y directions.
