I want to make an exact copy of each sheet with their original size

When I put two sheets of different size (one letter and one legal) on the input drawer, I want to make an exact copy of each sheet with their original size. Unfortunately, I get copies of the sheets in legal format only. Can I get output in the same format as the originals?
